MahCell - Travel WiFi Hotspot
We have recently started our WiFi program to give our customer access to fast 4G mobile internet when travelling in Iran. We call it Mah Cell for now!
We received a quite large number of suggestions from our customers regarding the need to have an internet connection when travelling in Iran.
Unfortunately, it has become even more difficult to buy and register a SIM Card, to access the internet in Iran over the past few years. The paperwork and registration for non-Iranian residents are quite complicated and for that reason, most mobile operators refuse to register SIM cards to non-Iranian customers.
So, we decided to make this easier by integrating a fast 4G Cellular Internet service into a small Pocket-Sized Travel Wi-Fi Hotspot to let our customers access the internet in Iran, without having to deal with all the hassle of SIM card registration. And that’s not all… our Pocket WiFi device can also be used as a Portable Power Bank to charge mobile devices!
Our pricing structure is so simple; €15 per week for unlimited data + €50 security deposit for the device (which you will get it back once you return the device).
You might now ask how do we order this?! It’s so easy! Just Register for MahCard and you will receive an invitation to try our MahCell service!

How much is it? I’ll stay almost 4 weeks in Iran. And how is the procedure? I’ll get the WiFi hotspot by the agent when I meet him because of the MahCard? And how I give the Hotspot back?
Regards Jörg
Hi Jörg, The price is 10 Euros per week for unlimited data. There is also a 50 Euros security deposit for the device which you would get back when you return the device. And yes you will get the package when your MahCard is delivered. We make another appointment to pick up the device before you leave the country.
Hi Kourosh, I remember you very well 🙂 Thanks so much for your answer. I have ordered 6 SIM-Cards for me and my friends in order to use it with our Smartphones. I hope mine will work although I used my iPhone already last October in Iran. Do you know if it works? Otherwise I’ll bring my iPad with me.
Best wishes and Nowruz Mobarak 🙂
